I was wondering if someone could explain why the Playstation store's auto download never works correctly for me.
Play Store Won't Download Apps
I've pre ordered 3 games on PSN for conveniences sake in the last year, and each one of those times the auto download option I selected for pre load did not work correctly.
It was kind of a bummer coming home from work, expecting to be able to play Bloodborne, but instead having to watch Sony's slow download speeds crawl across the screen.
I checked my MGS V pre order to see if it had the same problem, low and behold, it wasn't working as advertised.

Anyone else have this problem or know why it hasn't worked for me?
ANSWER:
- For PlayStation 4 on the PlayStation 4, a GameFAQs message board topic titled 'Bought a game from PS Store. It won't download'.
- Let’s stop the corresponding Windows update services and delete the contents from 'Software Distribution folder'. Any corruption to this folder could affect the windows update or store updates.
If you want to find out if your content on PS4 has downloaded and is installed properly, please follow these simple steps:

Sometimes, content that was purchased does not download and install automatically. In those cases, the download needs to be triggered manually. To do this go to the PS Store on your console and look for the item you want to install (e.g. DLC). Once you have located the content, click the button Download.
If the button displays a price instead of a download option, the item is not detected as purchased. If the item was purchased or should be included in your season pass, please contact PlayStation Support.
PlayStation also have an FAQ showing how to install additional content on their support site.If the button displays a price instead of a download option, the item is not detected as purchased. If the item was purchased or should be included in your season pass, please contact PlayStation Support.
